Tough Times

Locked up in home, 

Not enough work to do,

Or not enough interest in work,

I give in to the boredom.

The hot day fades into a dark night welcoming cool breezes.

Wondering if this ever ends,

 I sleep like a baby, under the limitless sky.

The news rooms are loud,

People around are confused and hopeless,

Warriors at the frontline are fighting the scary enemy.

I give in to spine chilling fear.

 The world fell apart like mist in sunshine.

Uncertainty eclipsed human kind like a thick blanket of darkness.

It gets tough to breathe and a life is taken forever.

I give in to faith.

Creativity yells at my lousy mind,

Happiness beggs my attention.

Love misses my presence, but,

Hope just caught hold of me.
