The greatness in being great!

From my child hood I have been listening about the stories of successful people, rather great people.I was wondering , What is greatness? How can people achieve that?

May be in the process of pondering on those questions, I got some answers.I figured out some of the qualities of great people.....in fact What made them great.

Dream: Any human being living on this earth will have dreams.Successful people always have dreams.They imagine themselves as the one they want to be like a child does,when s/he dreams about being a power ranger.They never stop being children. That enthusiasm,that fearlessness,that innocence never leaves them.
Vision: May it be Abdul Kalam or Steve Jobs or any other successful person, the only reason for their dreams come true is the vision they had. Their ability and readiness to transform their dreams into actions.Their zeal to lay down a path and travel in that path.
Hard work: As someone say , "A dream doesn't become a reality through magic; it takes sweat ,determination and hard work." Hard work can be the only cost that you can pay for being successful.Success understands the language of hard work only.
Perseverance:The basic trait that differentiates between success and failure is the ability to stick on to the cause despite difficulties.

Any person who wants to improve ,have to pose these questions to himself , as said by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

What is the one action which will make you great?
You have a page in the history of mankind.What is that page? How do you make that page which is going to be referred by the prosperity?
What will you be remembered for?

Ask these questions to yourself. It is never a wrong time to do a right thing, do it.Try to answer them. That will definitely transform you, your world. This might be the moment in your life that may lead you towards the path of greatness.THINK ABOUT IT!!

A love story or a breakup story?

Some stories are so strange. Neither a common man nor can an expert judge those stories easily. This is one such story for me. Planned to be a plain one without twists and turns. We the humans are worry worms! we worry and worry and worry . We bother less about the things around us , everything makes us happy ,everything looks wonderful when we are kids.But as we grow worry worm inside us grows year after year.The moment a worry worm takes birth in us is when we are put into a school.There it gets nurtured.Going to school leaving mamma is a worry.Facing the terrific teacher in class is a worry. As we climb up the academic ladder worries also climb. Doing homework , wearing uniform,sacrificing a dress that we like ......................................... WORRY. Set goals ...........worry about not achieving them. make friends ............worry about loosing them. Study well ................worry about getting 2nd rank?! The plight of mentally ill in India

Today when I was reading the article on twin prejudices that mentally ill women face in India, a whole array of incidents flooded my mind.It reminded me of my interaction with such-differently abled people or with people around them.There are at least 3-4 instances where I happened to visit or listen to those people.When such incidents happen, many thoughts come to my mind on how can I influence those situations for the betterment of those people. INCIDENTS: This is a boy from a village where I happened to visit a school.He is probably not mentally ill but the growth in his cognitive capacities seem very weak compared to others in his age group.But people there told me not to bother about him because he is MAD.
